One day, in a land not that far away, there was a naive young girl trying to fend for herself. Trying to find happiness while the world fought hard to bring her down.OK, well maybe not naive, but definitely pissed off and trying to understand people's intentions, whether good or bad.
I hope you find my journey humorous.

MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS!!

SERIOUSLY!!!!
HAVEN'T I SUFFERED ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!
(Just kidding)
So anyway...
While I was slaving away last night at work, delivering babies into the world, the beginning of a life...
SOME ASSHOLES WERE ROBBING MY HOUSE!!!
Oh yeah.
Computer...Gone.
Diamond Cross....Gone.
Digital Camera...Gone.
Credit card...Gone.
Approximately $10,000 worth of electronics and jewelry....GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HO-FUCKING-HO!!!!!
The furniture was over turned.
Lamps broken.
But the worst thing.
Some bastard was in my home.
Broke out the window to the kitchen door.
Touching my things.
MINE.
It's the invasion, the loss of security.
Never, have I felt unsafe or even nervous to be in my own home.
But now, as darkness approaches, I feel jumpy.
I can't seem to sit on the couch with my back to the window.
Although in my head I know it was a random act, I feel the hairs on my neck standing at attention.
I don't have shade on my windows.
Never really thought about it, until now.
And of course, I am off for the next three nights.
Here in this house.
I'm thinking the chance of sleep is slim to none.
How dare someone take my sense of security away from me.
I know that I am fortunate.
I was not home at the time.
No one was harmed.
Everything that was taken can be replaced.
It's the sentimental value to the jewelry that bothers me.
The diamond cross my mother bought me a few Christmas's ago.
The Movado watch for my high school graduation.
The opal and diamond ring I got for my sweet sixteen.
But again, I am fine.
I was not hurt.
What goes around comes around.
I am a firm believer of that.

Thank goodness you were not at home!! Being also a victim of robbery, it is truly insulting and so invasive.
And I am so with you on what goes around comes around. It is true.
